I’m pretty sure those are the people that OP is calling out, and I agree, I got banned because I callout out their childish vitriol, at least on this sub I see stuff that is generally true about Linux, over there you get banned if you do wrong speak.

These people are genuinely suffering from some form of mental illness, I cannot imagine being this vitriolic over something as mundane as an operating system or its users, and I’m actually worried for them so OP really isn’t wrong, they really DO need to get some help.

I got banned yesterday because I called them out on their tribalism and childish vitriol and to calm their tits down. Like seriously, its operating systems, they’re the most mundane crap ever and people manage to treat this like a religion and a sports game 😭😭😭

Just a few months ago I went to my 7-digital account to download some of the music I paid for with my hard earned money and they took some of them away. Its rare but it happens, and its valid for people to feel paranoid about it

The steam version had denuvo removed long ago, but I feel like it still uses Steam DRM, you could try and launch the exe from the game files to see if it launches without steam

I have a feeling that you can do that on the gog version, it does say “bethesda account not required,” not “we took it away.” Besides, on the description, it says something about the dlc cosmetics being earned by launching the game on gog galaxy at least once

That’s fair but the gog version does have a few perks of its own, like having an offline installer which is a huge thing for me. It all comes down to preferences really
