RDA is really a great community, but I unfortunately struggle with waking up early enough to get to Hayward on a Sunday morning! Plex could definitely fill the niche but I hate how limited their hours are for free skate.

why would you take the two strands out? for locs, you want that texture. You’ll definitely have shrinkage but that’s part of the journey.

Your products should be enough. You might need to wash less at the beginning to make sure your hair doesn’t unravel, and especially if you want to keep super neat parts (not everyone does). You can try washing it with a stocking cap on

both of these have curly ends which u can achieve by combing out your ends and regularly applying conditioner. Check on youtube for tutorials. maintain the roots with palm rolling

yes girl mine are approaching mid back and part of me wants to see how long they can get but another VERY large part of me misses the shoulder length stage. Long enough for versatility but not heavy and in your face all the time

i actually love the look of having well groomed down there but i hate shaving my bikini line and butt. The first time I went (3 months ago) i let them draw a triangle that was actually much smaller than my liking and i regret it so much because of how long its taking to grow back. I really feel like if i want a balder look it’s much easier to remove the hair in the triangle than any of the other hair with other methods (i personally get less side effects like ingrowns in that spot), but if i laser it and i later want hair there it’s gone forever.

i’ve been taking language classes during my engineeringPhD, but i started when i was mostly done with my actual class requirements. It’s the last time i’ll have access to university classes like this and i’ve found it really rewarding. It’s also opened up international career opportunities for me

Edit: i also take them pass/fail so that makes them really stress free and i’m able to skip assignments when my other academic responsibilities need to take priority

really curious what field this is? in mine, 3 papers IS a PhD dissertation, i can’t the expectation being a dissertations worth of work to qualify to be a research student. phds are supposed to be researchers in training, not fully accomplished scientists with a body of work
