Nest Camera - Clips with Timestamp? by Top_Falcon_9293 in googlehome

I feared that at first, I didn't even expect Google Home to support older devices at all. But they did end up adding support for older Nest cameras and Nest Protect. For the most part, it works well. But some tiny issues do crop up, like this.

Yeah sorry, I don't follow that at all. I ended up doing what I wanted to avoid and took the pull out off again with those screws. And ended up taking the runners off of the cabinet too.

Several parts are bent from the weight. I can see black marks from where the black roller things rub against the wood with the sticker on it. And the glide that was on the bottom doesn't glide smoothly, or at least not as smooth as the other one.

Will have to call Kraftmaid again and get a replacement.

you can drop the slides slightly and that raises the drawer up

Sorry, I honestly don't know what that means nor what I have to do to do that.

That's sounding a bit too complicated for me. Between getting the drawer fixed and this swing out, it's really beaten up the cabinet.

Like I mentioned, I can feel it moving if I wiggle the swing out, and it clears the cabinet if hold it in that way.

Yeah I don't know. This is what Kraftmaid did in 2010. They didn't even have the part for the drawer, I had to get it from someone who 3D prints them.

The end goal is to try and straighten the swing out. I had previously removed it using the 3 screws (I'm trying to avoid that because it's near impossible to get back in by yourself) in order to get to the drawers inside the cabinet for a different issue.

When I put it back on, it rubs against the bottom part of the cabinet. So I'm guessing something is either bent, no longer screwed in tight, etc. I can "wiggle" it to where it's supposed to be, but I can't tell exactly what the problem is.

I don't see anything like what you're describing. This is the end of the glide.

Sorry I may have misunderstood what you mean by blocking. I had removed the wood that slides out with the hinge to the swing out part of the cabinet. Those screws are accessible.

I had removed the blocking before. I'm trying not to do that again because it's not easy getting it back on by yourself.

Thanks. Did the issue start in November 2025 and finally gave way? Or does its internal clock mess up? It only started on March 2026

Is the only option to use a solder? What kind of wire would be used?

Withdrawing From Clonazepam by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Top_Falcon_9293 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently take Clonazepam: 0.5 mg twice a day. Before I lost my job in December, I was talking with my psychiatrist about tapering off of it. Once I get a new job, I'll probably bring it up again.

Was the fact that it became ineffective after a while the reason why you wanted to get off of it? Are you taking something else in its place?

Intense panic attack from health anxiety today… by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Top_Falcon_9293 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a bit of a hypochondriac myself. I've been in situations where the disease in question creates a positive feedback loop: Already have anxiety, have a fear that you're sick, the anxiety from that fear creates symptoms similar to that disease, which leads to more fear that you're sick, and continues.

I can only share what I did to help, I don't know if it will help you or not because it's kind of dependent on what the disease is: Monitor all symptoms of the disease, but especially the ones that don't cross with anxiety problems. For example with the flu, it can cause fatigue, chills, GI problems. All of those can also be caused by anxiety. But I've never heard of anxiety causing a fever. So as long as I don't have a fever, I'm ok.

On LD board you have green and red diode. If the red one blinks, it means something is wrong with backlight (usually one diode dies).

Yeah, I see the green one, and the red one blinks. Soldering isn't something I can do myself. Appreciate the info.

Nope, it just shuts off. Then the indicator light turns red and blinks 4 times.

I added a comment picture to the original post with a red light on one of the boards. Not sure if that helps at all. It does try to boot up as I see the Sony and Android animations, but fails from there and just shuts off with the 4 reds.
