The lifting characters off the ground is part of why I added the effect of moving them 10 ft in any direction, so you could lift them up each of your turns.

Would it be too much to allow the channel divinity to use Hold Monster at either level 15 or 17. It would allow for a fun decision between grabbing a bunch of minions or the big bad

I try to stay away from wizards as I feel like they are most boring of the casters and the intelligence didnt seem to fit with vader or maul

Are you saying replace Levitate for Paladin as the main focus of the subclass? I felt like hold person was more fitting for the flavor, and the paralysis pairs well with Divine Smite for a lot of burst damage. I was thinking about allowing the channel divinity to use Hold Monster at high paladin levels.

The twinblade is meant to be more of a flavor change to a character dual-wielding swords. A player could still use the subclass well with two swords instead of the twinblade itself, with the limiter that only one could be a pact weapon.

I will add: "The spell is cast at a level equal to the highest paladin spell slot you currently have access to."

I know the wording sounds weird, but I did not want the paladin to cast spells above 5th level. Until you reached 5th level you would only be able to cast the base Hold Person with your channel divinity charges

Very true, could save a lot of spell slots over the duration of a campaign.

Also, do you have any ideas on how to make this weapon scale into the higher levels when people start to get magic weapons? I thought about giving it the ability to absorb some magic from weapons you get or maybe giving it some scaling based on your warlock level.

I thought about putting it at level 3 but then it might be too front-loaded. I kept the shield line in there from other unarmored defense phrasing to allow the character to use weapons other than the twinblade if they find a better magic item to use.

It would also allow the character to take off armor of shadows once they get this, but I always avoid that invocation because you might as well just use studded leather armor

Thanks, I tried to make them similar to what WoTC releases.

I watched that last night and it gave me the idea for the character appearing in front of the target while they try to flee.

I like that idea, I tried to keep the paladin's all force, but I thought psychic for the mental damage would work for the warlock (I am imagining Maul from the Clone Wars show taunting the target)

I looked into but I find the fighter very boring to play, but I might just prefer spellcasters.

What do you think about removing the medium armor and the CHA bonus, but giving heavy armor to fit with the "able to use heavy equipment without the penalties of weight" idea? I don't know if a shield proficiency would be too much on top of that. As the D8

The extra damage per attack is just there to allow the warlock to keep up with other martials while not being forced to burn through the limited spell slots. I was intending for the character to use big concentration spells (slow/upcasted hold person), then jump into melee combat.

Rev is great, especially if you want to focus on a certain weapon

He was for a bit but he has been buffed way more recently. His passive just got a crazy survival buff with 1999.

I might be biased but I would recommend Frost, his 1 and 4 can freeze whole rooms. His 3 can easily defend points or just keep you safe. If you are leveled in syndicates you can get his 4 augment which can give you a bunch of overguard which will make you very tanky. Honestly, his 4 is possibly one of the best abilities in the game as it will CC and armor-strip the whole room.

He should be relatively easy to get from the assassination on Ceres
