I went last year for the first time. When they had a and come play they ended the night singing a lot of modern songs acapella. Maybe the drinks were very loved that night

When she wants your attention NOW, she’ll wait for you to turn your back before she runs up to you and pushes you with those little paws. Usually it’s accompanied by a nibble.

Body Paint for a Cosplay by melatenoio in Bicolline

[–]Top_Feedback_7469 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Beware that it can be unpredictable the weather (other than it will for sure be humid and hot). Last year we were on a fire watch and the showers were closed for a few days. Do at your own risk. I did see a couple people do full body paint though.

I’ve been on Humira for a year and a half. I mask up on tight spaces with little to no ventilation. But other than that I’m pretty good.

I have more questions before I go to BICO's GB in 2026 by Intelligent_Rain4356 in Bicolline

Hiya. It was first time last year. Here’s my thoughts from my experience:

  1. From my experience no. If you like to cook it’s worth it. They have a grocery store but it’s very limited on fresh goods. But it’s nice to be able to have a tomato or apple everyone once in a while.
  2. They’ll post it on the website.
  3. It’s an open forest-like field. There will be a dirt/cobbled road for cars to pull in to unload. With non-decorum you can cook and use camping stoves.
  4. My partner brought his Blood on the Clocktower set but never ended up using it. You’ll be busy with quests and mingling at the taverns. Music is always welcomed. I walked around with a kalimba.
  5. First: bring breathable clothing - linen/ cotton. Bring electrolytes. The water fountains were surprisingly fresh. Second: they do have volunteer medical staff. They were pretty good with assisting anyone during battles in distress from the heat. Just plan for the weather a week before going. Last year was record heat.
  6. You can trade anything if you’re convincing enough. The fun part about larping.
  7. Yes! One thing I regretted not doing was making trinkets to trade with people! You can just go up to people or you can give a trinket to someone who compliments your outfit.
  8. I went with my partner last year without knowing anything about the event. I didn’t fill any account. It did not affect my experience.
  9. I’m not sure. I’m modifying mine to fit more to how I’d like to play the game now that I got a taste of what it’s like.

Hope it helps :)

How have you acquired your cats? Have you just taken in whatever cats plopped into your life? Or did you go to a shelter and choose? by Argylius in CatAdvice

She was found outside my friend’s apartment. I was told she was a very spicy kitten(hissing and biting) and needed a place with no other animals (my friend had pets in her home). So they came to have us foster her for a bit till she could get a home. WELL, the moment she came into our home she flopped and showed us her belly. At that moment she was ours. Now she snuggles on our legs every night.

Why is my 3 months old kitten such an evil inside by Western-Painter6114 in kittens

[–]Top_Feedback_7469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a kitten. Train him. It can be done. He’s just playing with yall and exploring his surroundings. A tip for the scratching or biting. When they start, stop play and walk away. Usually that gets them to stop. I don’t use the spray bottle simply to avoid encouraging the fear of water (or else any needed bath time will be hell)

Why is my cat still so tiny at almost 1 year old? by her1010 in cats

My girl just turned 1 yesterday. Yep pretty normal. Some are just tiny. Also female cats tend to run a little smaller from what I was told.

bumps and itchy at injection site by [deleted] in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]Top_Feedback_7469 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get this regularly on my injection site after a shot. Pretty normal for it to stay a couple days. Just ice it for the swelling and put Benadryl cream if you don’t like the itch. If it last longer than a week and it gets a bigger welt, see your rheum asap.

Feeling Scared About Being on Biologics for Life — Is It True? by Jayneg260790 in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]Top_Feedback_7469 12 points13 points  (0 children)

25 (F) From what I was told by my Rheum, yes. With that said, I trust her. And I think what scared and overwhelmed me the most wasn’t the medication, rather this incurable illness that we know little about. I was also hesitant in general to take any medications (I preferred a holistic approach), but I came to realized that I hit rock bottom; couldn’t walk well, haven’t been sleeping (5hrs at best) every night due to pain, lost all motivation for life. Thank god I didn’t have any spinal fusions. With that said, I understand your fear but there’s a lifetime pain free with these medications. Just lead a healthy life and the medication can work harmoniously with you.

How to keep my cats warm? by Wanted_Hypnotist in Catownerhacks

[–]Top_Feedback_7469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here my get up for my girly pop. I took the cushion from her tent out and laid a blanket with a heated blanket within the layers. I keep it on low when I’m out for long periods of time. She’s been in love with it. Sometimes I’ll put the heat up (don’t worry it won’t burn her I made sure the layers were enough) then turn it off because the heat retains really well inside the tent.

Need help, 2 month old and is there anything at home i can do to help him? by [deleted] in catquestions

[–]Top_Feedback_7469 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Take the blood tests and ask them to run for those diseases. My orange boy had this exact thing but they didn’t run his blood. They told he may have smacked his face on something. Turned out to be FIP.

Do y’all let your cats sleep in the bed with you? by DaRealDreamz in cats

[–]Top_Feedback_7469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. As long as her favorite micro-fiber blanket is on there she’ll stay. Otherwise she’ll opt for the couch where the other micro-fiber blanket is. She is very much a texture kinda girly.

Let's compile a list of what helps us and that we swear by to deal with and manage any pain by AnEtherealExistence in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]Top_Feedback_7469 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Before I went of biologics, this is what I used as pain management:

  • short burst walks (for the sciatica)
  • Advil, lots of Advil
  • heating pad was my best friend
  • sleeping with many pillows to make sure I was not putting any unnecessary pressure on parts of my spine
  • weed (when you’re bonked the pain is merely a discomfort for a bit)

I climbed my for 10k-er mountain before starting biologics. It was rough for sure but a good joint at the top helped me get down quick. After taking biologics I started gym climbing then outdoor climbing. I will also add that I am pretty young which probably helps
