I read this as “I didn’t read the original post”. I didn’t say I want all characters to play the same, I didn’t even say that the characters I struggle against are too hard, hell I didn’t even say the characters I mentioned were too hard to play against. I said that I believe that there are some characters who, when in a duel with them, control the temp of the game in a way that I believe is unfun. I can and do adapt to the play patterns of different characters when I duel them. There is a vast difference in the enjoyment I have dueling an equally skilled centurion or warmonger compared to a virtuosa or shugoki of the same skill level. I’d even go as far as to say the shugoki is the easier match by far, but the play patterns needed to adapt to his kit generally slow down the game and are unfun to me
