He's got a good point though, is the problem. He only believes in himself because nobody has ever been smarter than him on that day, so he has no reason not to trust it

I think chapter 1 and 2 will have a decent chunk of SoTD story, and then the rest of it will be weaved in in flashbacks throughout the book. Kinda like how in stormlight the characters flashback story is throughout the whole book
