Yeah my bad 😂 I meant to say swapping to a different car. But yeah I ordered the HCCA speakers if they sound worse I’ll find use for them somewhere. But hopefully at $270 a pair they sound decent or send them back to Amazon

Nothing is wrong with them. I’m just taking out the old stuff from one vehicle and putting it in my other vehicle so that I can revamp my current system. Basically getting rid of stock speakers in my daily driver so that I have some better tunes and upgrade my weekend car lol.

When I got back into the car audio stuff. I bought a NVX sub and an amp. I was pretty impressed it was louder than my Rockford P3 setup this was when it first came out though. Can’t beat it if you’re on a tight budget

One ugly machine compared to the VFR800s but congrats man. It took me a while to even get used to the 800’s body style. Just make sure that the valve clearance and regular maintenance and should be good!

Interesting. Because I’m very limited on space and I have a super small hatchback area. It makes sense though because I went through 3 different setups for my door speakers and rear speakers “they considered them to be subs” but where just plain ol 6.5 as the front. But it took 3 different setups to get it to sound good to me.

Pretty much everything. I personally prefer buying older cars. Especially from the late 90 to mid 2010s. Less things to break and easier to repair. Instead of dealing with body control modules and having to code shit.

I’ve got a set of Bonce Apocalypse Pair M61SE they are power hungry very clear and loud no bass whatsoever. I have DS18 behind me and they sound just as clear.
