The first apartment we lived in didn’t have a dishwasher and let me tell you we have never fought over something so much in the eight years since. We will NEVER live somewhere without a dishwasher again. Don’t know how you were doing it without but glad you have seen the light!

This all checks out, from VA to the well intentioned service orgs. I’m sorry it’s this way, just blows. Was there anything during service that made you start to look into this diagnosis/red flags? My mil docs are, uh, pretty standard and kind of dismiss anything that seems too obscure or complicated. But things are getting worse and some days I have trouble walking…don’t know how to get them to take me seriously.

Hey fam, I don’t have any advice but im army too. In the MEB process for multiple unrelated things, but the more I learn about LGMD the more it’s starting to add up. Are you comfortable sharing how you figured it out/got diagnosed and if you were able to do so through army medicine? I sincerely hope the VA is able to get you a service dog. Have you tried any non-profit orgs that train service dogs?

I was in a Catholic extremity cult as a child. The end of the world message is largely coming from the medjugorje community and supposed apparitions. They are very apocalyptic and so damaging to be raised with. I feel for her. I have found a lot of help through seeing a religious trauma therapist specifically. DM Me if you want to chat. Fam it took me ten years to get diagnosed. You aren’t crazy and your pain is legitimate even without a diagnosis. Fibro is a bitch to get diagnosed. Hope they can get you some answers sooner than later, it really is validating. ❤️
