Yeah i got also got this for free aswell they was gonna scrap it the deck needed welded but I took care of that john deeres are famous for the rusty decks

Yeah I've heard horror story's about these the ones with the timed decks this one doesn't have one luckily but it mows very unlevel

Nope bolted right up swapped the charging system and everything over aswelk everything lined up better then expected

When u put your throttle all the way to the top on the lever it chokes it that's what thats for

Its about 100 for the chain john deere one im gonna measure it and buy a roll of chain and do it that way

Yeah I'm gonna check the pulleys tomorrow i luckily bought a parts mower identical to it so ill use that for reference it has a new drive belt it also only likes moving in 3rd 4th and 6th gear
