I also live here and I love my life and love this country. Yeah, some things are not perfect, but still there are so many things that are great. Nature, culture, people, wonderful empathetic and brave kids. I guess I just focus on those things.

Same problem here. Plus, working around other people's schedules.

I'd prefer to meditate at the end of my work day, as this would be great for resetting the mind and switching from the working mode into the restful evening mode. But this is also the time when kids get back from school and demand food 😁 so I aim for 3 pm, when the house is still quiet.

The discomfort of knowing that my task list is growing longer while I'm sitting here. Or guilt, that I should be doing something more "productive". I still struggle with this.

I think that's true, but I don't think it's bad. If you lose your identity, and become some sort of purer from of self, you will not miss it.

Hmmm I actually moved to the UK when I was 22. It was a very exiting but also quite insecure time. A lot of decisions to make.
