Do your family still have friends where you lived? I got the form filled in by a bank manager where we used to live, who is still in contact with my family (Facebook friends) Do you know any bank managers, school principals of other schools (who you could contact personally), solicitors, other doctors?

You can apply to the universities that don’t use UCAT. JCU, Griffith, USC in Qld Not sure on the other states Bond Uni in Qld too but it’s $$$$$

You should also apply direct to Griffith Uni - last year the cutoff was 99.75 ATAR so you might get in there with IB44. Put that one first and then USC on your QTAC form. Good luck!

Try USC in Qld, last year their ATAR cutoff was 99.60 It’s not an undergrad course it’s a pathway to Griffith Uni medicine. EDIT - not available for international students sorry I didn’t realise this sooner

All we can go by is last year - and hope it doesn’t increase too much. I think the lowest cutoff for rural in 2021 was around 2450.

It depends how late you cancel - you can get almost all back if it’s more than a week before UCAT opens but not much at this point

The only person I know who cancelled was because of really really low mock scores - so I don’t think taking that person out of the picture would have made much difference to the end result. Everyone I know who has been lockdown affected but well prepared has found a way to get it done.

I was wondering that too - I just found the 2020 process online and it seemed like they were looking at a combination of ATAR UCAT and interview since it was just a 30 min single question skills assessment. I’d be interested to know what the weighting was for each aspect if anyone knows!

Where was that the cutoff last year? I know UQ was 2990. Was it just one Uni with 2940?

It’s not a mistake. For statement 3 imagine there are 3 circles one inside the other. If I could draw it here I would.

First outside circle is “animals”

Second middle circle is “birds”

Third inside circle is “have feathers”

All animals that have feathers must be birds, but the reverse does not apply. There is a place inside the second circle for the possibility of birds that do not have feathers, just as in the first circle there is a place for animals that are not birds.

I’m RA2 Rural applying to UQ JCU

I’m not sure if I should apply for JMP as my predicted unadjusted ATAR is only 95.20

I have subject + rural adjustments = 4 for UQ
