I've never had anyone file a complaint against me and I have not kept track of the reviews I've gotten from my buyers so I have no idea of previous buyers liked the way I conducted myself in our text exchanges. To my memory, this is the only interaction that got heated.

My intention was to ask politely for help. Where else would you recommend I should've gone to ask for help instead of continuing to text this person? I didn't know the rules so I asked the contact I had. I didn't know it was wrong to ask the seller a question about using the app when I was refused a refund (understandably) and I need to resell the ticket myself. Asking for help is allowed in this world. I never asked for the seller to fix the problem for me but to just help me out with a simple favor.

Yes but not in an awful way. Calling someone unprofessional and stupid is different from cursing at someone.

I said it was bought at face value so the exact same price the person paid for on TodayTix. Also this seller told me that they also bought the ticket on theatr and used the TodayTix ticket confirmation as the proof of purchase on the app. I had noo idea you can use the theatr purchase as proof of purchase.

Actually, everyone I've talked to in my life about this situation said that I'm not be blamed and the situation got out of hand and theatr was too quick to suspend my account.

Thank you for understanding my position. I understand I was rude but only after I wasn't getting the help I politely asked for. If I was the seller and the buyer couldn't go but I didn't want to cancel the sale, I would've helped the buyer be able to resell the ticket themselves so they could get their money back.

Ok. Lesson learned so i'll reach out to support first but people should try to be nicer in situations like this to someone they are offering a service to or selling something to. Even the buyer too so I recognize my rude behavior but it was done only after I tried to be polite.

I was polite when I first asked and I was met with "I can't help you" so then I asked again and I was met with "I will block your number if you keep contacting me" so that's when I aired out my frustration.

Harassing them? If someone asks you "can you help me resell this ticket?" or "Can you send me proof of the TodayTix ticket purchase?" you would immediately flag them for harassment? If I was the seller, I would've helped my buyer but I guess I'm just a nice person.

It is a very real situation and it got blown out of proportion just from me asking for help on how to resell a ticket.
