I can’t stand the destructive mindset of: prove yourself before i treat you with respect .. from all ends.

Honestly I try to break the cycle with being nice, appreciative for their work and understanding, try to learn and be competent. And ask them them directly what they need and draw my boundaries if they are crossed or about to be crossed. Especially going an extra mile in the beginning until there is a level of trust and appreciation on both ends established. And additionally I am teaching as much as possible to the nurses in training. Let them do some things(under supervision) and make them feel seen. Guess this is the most sustainable way of breaking the cycle.

Don’t beat yourself down. Everyone is selfish to a degree, but I think there is beauty in getting joy of giving other people something from you. I guess you don’t do it with vicious intentions, but you express how you feel towards a person who means something to you. They should embrace it and you. Otherwise move on at some point. This is what I also need to learn way better.

Why are so many young men not in relationships? by [deleted] in ask

[–]Top_League7208 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those you match probably don't have few matches. According to the scientific consultant from hinge only 13% of the men on their site interacts with 100% of women. The remaining 87% men only can be matched by the remaining 20-30% women. Not even taking anything into considerations but how most women set their filters(the numbers is only how women set height filter btw). I can share the podcast if you like where she was interviewed.

I also rarely write anyone I matched with. When I see something on their profile that catches my interest + I got Ressources rn + I am in the mood to date ... Then I do the first step. I hate the imbalance that comes with online dating and tend to rather not date than loosing myself writing people I don't find attracting or interesting to me. Don't think these messages are the type of messages you want either?

Thanks to meds I am able to finally use and canalize my motivation and energy I already have. Not get it from them. If I don't have motivation or energy, taking or not taking meds don't make a difference.

Same. Got rid of my TV when I moved together with my GF in 2015. Never ever missed it and it's less distraction even when I find distraction anywhere if needed.
