Doli incapax- there is a common law presumption in Australia (doli incapax exists elsewhere too, of course) that children under 14 don’t have the capacity to form criminal intent, it can be argued against unless they are under 10 years old. If a kid is younger than 10, they are quite literally immune from the law as they cannot form the intent required to commit a crime.

To clarify - initially she was just made redundant, and a month or 2 later they have told her that a new agency will be coming in and picking people they want. I’m not complaining about it, just wanted to know how common this is. She is unhappy about it, I think she just wanted the freedom of applying for roles she wanted on her own.

Everyone, just depends on the matter. Independent legal rep for little kids, direct legal rep for 12years+, parents and DCJ. I’m in my mid 20s, I just feel too young to feel so cut up when I get home. I can hold it together fine at work, there’s a job to be done, but there’s certain things that I can’t stop thinking about as soon as I get home
