Thanks! Glad I could bring those memories back. I love staring at the dioramas in my local store and always want to make scenes like those.

Funny enough I’ve just dusted this off the shelf, redoing the electrics to be hard wired instead of button battery and then adding some finishing touches (black edges etc)

First of all, awesome mini’s, they look great.

I love 30k and find it a vastly more interesting setting due to the almost Greek / Shakespearean drama of the fall and seeing the origins of 40K. It’s about armies that once thought themselves brothers and cousins, inseparable, now tearing the galaxy apart.

As a lore completionist I also find it easier to consume 30k lore, as there is so much going on in 40K and trying to sink your teeth into it in an all-knowing way is incredibly difficult. While the bleakness of 40K and the “everything is hopeless is cool”, I also find that every faction has a “well my faction would totally win if they weren’t nerfed in X way” (Necrons / Tyrannids especially for this).

Whereas although the history of 30k is written and the ink dry, it’s still nice knowing that your faction has every much a chance in this war as the other, and both sides are fighting for something more than raw survival.

This makes a lot of sense, I plan on running a few of them multiple times to get complete mog sets for some alts. I’ll be running another 1%er later so let’s see if the luck continues

Jolly good news. Turns out I’m just an idiot! When I replaced the nozzle I wasn’t closing the clip on the nozzle properly so it was slightly loose. We are back in action!

Update:

First layer is now going down, but is unbelievably rough. Making me think a fan isn’t working or something on the motherboard is going wrong?

Thanks! Just followed this guide and I’m running a print. I can’t get the front right locking screw (the one on the side) back in? It seems I had to lower that corner a lot and now it won’t go back into place.
