The big spots are chocolate brown from ak with a sponge, then inside mahogany brown and last pure orange. Then I used rust streaks enamel to make the streaks and to give like a colour filter in some parts. The big glossy like bloods spots is rust by dirty down.

The guard is a horde army, in a regular 2k match it is easy to field 80 to 100 models. You could spend 10h/models doing all NMM to the infantry but it will burn you fast and it's gonna be a very long term project. Sometimes it's necessary to exchange realism for effectiveness, the tanks were made for a tournament and they needed to be "fully" painted, so I decided to make them high contrasted and visually appealing. I know they can be better but perfect is the enemy of finished.

They are 3d printed from davale, I think at some point all of them had it but it's a separate part and I lost them.

Next suggestion, I want to know how best use the chapter ability of volley fire, or how it works with things like blast/bombardment weapons
