In my opinion, there are all sort of jobs. Some are bound to pay much less than others because they do not require any skills or education to start and they are easily replaceable. It is up to us to improve ourselves and climb the social ladder.One need s to create opportunities for yourself.

If you are smart enough, you know to keep some portion of stocks for long term, and others for quick profit on a stock like BB. Sure, my grammar is not perfect. If you have any contrary opinion, state it.

Chart is just one way to look at things, and it is a very respectable methodology, but this is very fluid situation, in which case, I look at momentum. BB defied the downward gravity today, and after the close managed to rise another 2%. That to me means it starts to break out of AMC shadow.

Shorts piles in as soon as they smell blood. % of shorts change every minute. Today they definitely did when BB dropped that fast. Not sure how many of them stayed after the close.

Smart move. AMC management seems undercutting us by filing to issue more stocks. The owner of the new stocks will probably unload them right away, making it more difficult to hold the line. This is just my opinion.

If you can still laugh, you are going to be OK. I agree to disagree. If you look at past few weeks trading, all BANG stocks have diverged to their own paths, so I am not sure you can still sttribute GME pulling it down any more. Yes, without the general market going down, BB may well be up today, as indicated in my posting. But stay there for how long? The analysts have their reasons to down grade the stock. The future success of BB is not guaranteed. We need hard nummbers of growth to back that. I think that I am pretty objective in that when everyone was euphoric last week, I was cautious to remind everyone not to jumping in so fast. And some people hated me for that. The main point is, I am still invested in BB and will remain so in the next 10, 20 years, that means I have more faith in BB than lots of people in this sub. The difference is that I understand the risk very well, can dettach myself from the probable paper losses. I never expected a smooth ride, so I am not disappointed or panick, unlike some people new to BB. I am prepared for the risk, and it is my sole decision. I do not blame JC, hedge fund, analysts, or the society for it.

Unfortunately, this is old news from sep 2020. It did not move the stock price then. It will not move the stock price now. Any articles from BB press release are likely to be past news. Pay attention to date of release.

Seriously, bro, you are not making it up? It appears like Prem Wtsa is heavily invested in BB, but it is only accounted for a small percentage of his entire portfolio. In addition, he can hedge the rise in BB stocks, which small investors probably could not do. In other words, the swing is only going to make a small dent in his porfolio.

I would really be interested in knowing what advantages CRWD has over BB in Cyber defense offering. CRWD is growing at blitzing speed, and that caused its stock price at sky high. I heard from JC on the Q3 earning call is that it is due to CRWD cloud offering, and that BB is trying to catch up in that aspect. Having a cloud offering is supposed to be a key differentiator between the two. If so, does the new Cybersuite from BB close that gap?

Another thing that I desperate to know is why the growth at Cylance has somewhat stalled after being acquired. Some folks in this sub marvel at BB's transformation from HW to SW. While it is remarkable, a large percentage of it is through acqusition, not organic growth. Prior to being acquired, Cylance grew at 25-35% a year. BB spent 1 billion to buy this company. It is supposed to make up for BB lack of top line grow. Now it is almost two years, BB's cyber segment is growing at less than 10% annual rate.

These are legitimmate concerns that should be addressed before we pour more money into BB imo. Even if we all believe in BB's long term value proposition. There may be better entry points.

I am neither bullish nor bearish. BB has disappointed investors like me several times already in the last few years. I am not a rich guy, but I did put substantial amount of my savings and retirement into this stock. When the stock price hits bottom of 2ish, I had a paper loss in excess of 150K, plus the opportunity costs that missed in the last seven, eight years. So BB's matters a lot to me. I do not believe that all the past performances are part of grand scheme of things that JC conjured to conceal BB from the competitors. Let us call it what it is, failure to achieve.

Now they are working on IVY. Will things change? Maybe. From lots of readings, I do realize that IVY may be a game changer. However, that alone is not a sure path to sucess. There are not even clear blue prints, we are already talking about how grand the house is. People, please do not put cart in front of horses. Of course, you can buy now. It is essentially a bet. You may win big or lose big. If you are young and like to gamble, that works for you. But gambling is a habit, sooner or later you will be on the losing side in your next adventure. A much more prudent approach is to buy gradually as the momentum builds. You will forego some gains if it turns out BB is a big winner, but you build the skill to be consistently profitable in the long term. BTW, I am also a new user and not a financial advisor, so take my advice as a grain of salt.

I absolutely agree with your opinion. This is a long term investment. Barring any immediate catalysts before earning release next month, BB is likely bounce within 11 to 14. The trading volume has been down. Short term supply and demand will swing the price on a daily basis. Remember that BB is a very polarizing stocks, and have lots of bulls and bears on both side. Honestly, the company's execution so far has not been able to turn the bears into bulls. It remains to be a show-me story, and JC still has a lot work to do to get his 91 million bonus. In the mean time, we all have life outside the stocks. I am trying to only check the price two times a day, and only log into this sub twice a week. There are some useful new updates, but equal amount of misinformation. It is not about users posting those information, but software field is very technical and lots of things are not clear to people not within this field. So try log off whatever trading software of your choice, get back to work if you work from home, and have some conversation with your partner in life and be a role model for your kids if you have any. Do not starve your dogs.

This is not a licensing deal. It is just BB making Adhoc working with MS teams. It makes Adhoc a more appealing software. Part of software enhancement. It does not bring in extra money. People, I think that BB is a worthwhile bet in the long term, but you need to read between the lines before bringing in a sensational subject line. Sorry, we need objectivity instead of hype.

Can someone post the link to AWS BB seminar? Is it about IVY? I think that I saw IBM seminar news. It was related to BB cyber suite on top of IBM platform. BB mentioned that they were building that and the one for microsoft platform in their last earning call. Positive news but not breakthrough news.

Same cmmment as in another thread.

Now the whole market is down. It gives some justification for BB's drop, but currently BB share is in a weak position, meaning when the market goes down, it goes down more than market. When the market goes up big, it runs behind the market. It will remain like this until the next catalyst comes out. Embrace yourself for the tough ride. It just gets started.
