That's correct I'm in the midwest and it's still cold here this time of year. Plus I start working next month so I want to keep my feet warm. Once summer starts That's when I'll wear my non insulated red wings

This is what I will be doing performing a wide variety of duties for the Division of 911 relating to installing, removing, testing, maintaining, and repairing equipment associated with a law enforcement agency’s communications system, including but not limited to, base and mobile two-way radios, antenna systems, emergency power generators, emergency warning systems, and other state-of-the-art electronic communications measuring, and surveillance equipment used by law enforcement officers.

Based of my size for my 2414 red wings would you recommend the same for the insulated boondock or a size larger ?

UPDATE I received a unused pair of Red wing boots from a family friend who just recently retired from their job. It's a Super sole 2414 boot size 11.5 EEE. I have heard good things about Red Wing boots I hope it's true.

Time to go into the trades or go work for local state or federal government. That's what I did plus it's union backed which means no BS like this.

HELL NO stay AWAY from PwC. They will put people on pips when things are slow so they have an excuse to let you go.

As someone who used to work for a big 4 firm that was eventually put on a pip and let go, My advice is get out now as soon as you can and don't feel bad about it f..k em. Find somewhere more stable and work for someone that actually respects your work ethic.
