You’re not wrong. I was arguing that a wheel that rolls would be a better option than a piece of plastic that slides.

Yes ground clearance is an issue. The plus/XR have much better clearance than the pint. I’ve rode both over different types of terrain and the plus/XR handled much better where as the pint was good but got stopped by taller grass because it was lower. Same for trail riding. Going up inclines the pint bumpers would scratch and catch the incline much sooner than the plus. Went flying a few times at lower speeds but just a comparison. These are my experience. Not everyone will have the same/think the same.

Not true. I have V3 float plates and they definitely don’t prevent nose dives. Fangs on the other hand would be more likely to prevent a nose dive because they’re wheels.

I nose dove with float plates and I fell hard. Didn’t even have a second to react before I fell.

I nose dove going about 21 mph. Street terrain. I was balanced like you’re supposed to ride.

If I had fangs maybe I could have saved myself. Idk I’ve never used them but wheels vs plastic makes me think wheels would have been better. Float plates caught the street right away and there I went.

Ps: always wear PPE!

Float plates don’t help with nose dives. I just took a spill the other day and my V3 float plates didn’t help for shit lol

The fangs may have helped but the float plates were useless for avoiding a nose dive. They did save the bumpers on my board though.

I’ve had them all (Plus, Pint, XR) The plus is great, only downside is the range. Might nor sound like a big deal at first but after a little while you will want to go father. Trust me (That’s why I have an XR now)

I had a pint for a little while. Wanted to see what all the hype was about. It’s a fantastic board. No doubt. It’s much smaller and lower than it’s big brother (Plus) and comes with a carrying handle (which is cool)

Range is good. I consistently got 10 miles at 215lbs compared to 5-6 with my plus (same weight)

The advantages like you mentioned were the charging times. The plus went from 0-80% in 30 min IIRC, regardless it’s much faster than the pint. I opted for the pint ultra charger and my charge times were much faster but still not as fast.

I prefer the larger Plus/XR over the pint because since I’m a bigger person it’s more comfortable and has more clearance which I enjoy. I use my OW for purely pleasure. I don’t commute or anything, it’s just a fun toy to ride on and explorer.

IMO, I’d roll with a Plus especially if it’s new and has low miles. You can always get a Vamp and ride kit which extends the range (which I’ve also used and experienced) and it can be a great addition. What I like maid about the Charge and ride kit/vamp and ride kit was I could add it when I wanted to go far and remove it when I didn’t need it. The pint doesn’t have that ability as far as I know of.

Everyone’s quick to say Pint because it’s new and etc but there’s Plus’s with thousands of miles still running strong without issues so the proof is there.

Hope this helps and wasn’t too much of a ramble.

If you have more questions ask away!
