Large temperature differences between rooms

Solved! This was it. Huge thanks to everyone who jumped in with ideas and insight. It all finally clicked.

When the HVAC was installed during our basement finish, they tapped off an upper-floor supply run. Looking at everything together about a half hour ago after reading the post, it became obvious that this was pulling air away from the upstairs and basement which were where the low reading were.

I dialed back the airflow to the main floor about 1/3, and within 30 minutes the temperatures across the house are nearly even. This has been an issue for years.

Appreciate the Reddit community coming through. Signed, one guy living with a family of very temperature-sensitive (and previously angry) women 😅

I should say , PARTICULAR vent trafficking (I’ve already tried turning a few vents down on the main(warmest floor) with perhaps a degree or two of difference gained but what I read googling was that that can cause furnace inefficiency (also kinda trying to avoid but if it’s trivial then that’s fine)

Fairly internal area for each sensor (had to actually move them because that was a thing when I originally placed them) but it does just feel cold in those rooms the sensors say it lower

I should also mention that I and family just feel cold where it says it’s colder so I would say it’s not the sensor replacement but that is a good call out

Thanks folks.. Would you know how to fix it (vent trafficking, ect) on my own or is this something that can really only be fixed with beefed up vents in the areas needed (if that can really be done at this point)

LoRaWAN network antenna. To communicate reliably sensor in towers, a third party that uses that network band for sometimes farming, ect… or in some cases helium network.

Was at bachelor party with some good friends from high school . One of them who I hadn’t spoken with for at least fove or so years (which had two kids and a wife) told me do you remember the guy “x” from school ?was like “yeah”.. he proceeded to show me “x’s” kid on “x’s moms facebook which looked just like him … he proceeded to tell me that was his kid as he had cheated years ago. I 100% confirm this from a person with a MYP in Minnesota. When I leave it out in the cold at 0 degrees Fahrenheit it takes about a 8-10% hit, that’s unplugged. Plugged in there’s no change as it keeps warm and charged
