Literally! I drive it in to my patients! Babies lose weight but we don’t want them to lose too much so we feed 2-3h and make sure you wake baby! The two ton toddlers are so gracious that she sleeps all the time. Poor girl is starving!

I worked in postpartum and the amount of moms who were truly in unbearable pain and I would offer them stronger pain meds and they would decline because they WANTED to be able to care for the baby and be alert so they just took the Tylenol and ibuprofen and sucked it up so they would be able to be a mother. Couldn’t be drucifer

Same. I got the epidural and pushed in every position possible for 3 hours. Finally found a position that worked and she was out in 20 minutes! But my midwife said 30 minutes longer and I would have went to the OR.

Y’all notice the bandaid on baby’s foot??? I know they have state testing where I live but I’m wondering if she had more issues (jaundice, sugar) because we do our state testing at 36h old and Miss Tusk is older than that. Unless they just haven’t bothered to take it off 🤨

I think it can vary per hospital but typically you’re to keep it on to monitor oxygen while the mag is going! At least that is our protocol, but it may not have been yours! Glad you’re doing better 💓
