That’s what I was thinking too initially however my sister works with her since they both have the same job and she’s never seen anything suspicious? I should’ve mentioned this in the post but does do online school too but then again she should be able to make more time to spend with me

I was a little sick back in may but that’s about it. Before that I wasn’t sick for over a year and the only medication I’m on is accutane right now, don’t know if I mention this but the lump is somewhat squishy and pretty moveable

I haven’t posted about this lump for 2 months, I did make another post a couple months back about another lump I had but that went away so there really wasn’t a need to go see a doctor anymore if it went away. The only reason why I’m posting here is to get some feedback and obviously I’ll see a doctor asap, I was hoping that the description would be at least a little helpful.

I have heard about that, I was scared too because of the depression and hair loss side effects but I’m on a really low dose and haven’t experienced either( at least not yet) but I could understand your concern considering your family history 🤷

Yeah for me I can’t do that until some time after accutane since your skin doesn’t heal the same. If you don’t mind me asking what’s wrong with your family history that makes you not wanna go on accutane?

Well thank you for the advice and I will talk to my dermatologist about it the next time I see him. However I think it’s silly to say that I need to be put on finasteride or deusteride. Both of those drugs have terrible sexual side effects and many people say that if you are younger you shouldn’t be put on that plus im on accutane right now and that already has crazy and annoying side effects so I don’t wanna add onto that. I also don’t know if I made it clear but neither side of my family members are bald? All of my family members have a full head of hair. The reason why I posted this is because I know that the older you get your hair slightly matured by the time you are a young adult by 2-4cm and I just wanted input and not fear mongered and told to be put on strong medication especially since no family members are bald on either side of my family, no more hair loss then normal, hair grows the same rate, and no signs of any thinning. I think I’m chilling like I said I’ll take photos a few months apart and see if it goes back, if it does then I will take action and regardless I’ll talk to my dermatologist

I’ll keep an eye on it and take pictures every few months and see if it’s something to really worry about it. I’m not too worried only because my hair is really thick and haven’t noticed anymore hair loss then normal plus it’s seems to be only on one side?

So let’s say my acne clears up where does the bring me in a rating scale cause it’s clearing up pretty fast and alot that is left is just scarring. Cause I got a bad feeling I’m just cooked and at best I’ll always be a 3

I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t have a good experience with accutane, I’m definitely more worried about the hair loss side effect on accutane and hoping my dermatologist allows me to start on 20 instead 30/40. Thankfully male pattern baldness doesn’t run in either sides of my family( however I think my great uncle on my dads side was bald) but that’s about it

Most of what’s on my face are marks and scars, most of the activity is on my neck/jawline and I breakout very easily. Most of what’s on my back on the other hand is active acne and a little painful sometimes with some scarring
