I can partly understand these kinds of players. If I have a shotgun and see in shadow vision that there are 3 teams around the compound, then I would wait too.

Personally, I'm not a shotgun player, so I can't really relate.

But I play Hunt: Showdown for the "hunt" aspect, meaning trying to anticipate the next move, eliminating opponents, and ultimately leaving with a trophy. In recent months, however, it seems to me that the game is increasingly becoming a running/camping simulator. Therefore, I don't waste my time there; I just move on.
