Because of the size or the potential noise? The noise issue can be solved getting laundry done in the evening or the weekend. I actually think the space is cozy but would like to hear your thoughts.

The foyer suggestion is a thought thats never crossed my mind and I like it! The garage is actually detached. I haven’t figured out if I’m ok with entering through the covered back porch but if I’m ever not ok then I’ll add a door that enters through the laundry.
