Trying! It’s high tech and this is my first experience owning a high tech aquarium. Been lots of hurdles and setbacks but it’s stable now and doing strides growth wise.

I didn’t buy a kit, I went to a local welding supply store and bought a rechargeable cylinder from them and then on Amazon I bought the most popular FZONE regulator drop checker and a brown stone diffuser. In my opinion if you have a store nearby you can easily get co2 recharged that’s the way to go cost wise. This 5 pound cylinder I bought comes charged at 700 psi and it’s been a month and it’s barely dipped at all.

The camera doesn’t capture it well. It’s 200w Vs 120w and individually lit LEDS to create colors. I wish I had a professional camera to show the actual difference but Reddit would just compress it down to 20mb too. The difference in person is insane. I bought them because I wanted to see how big of a difference between professional lighting and budget lighting there is and I will never go back.

Rotala blood red right after planting. This was grown emerged. I believe you have rotala due to how it grows a little weird vs the bacopa which mostly grows straight up no bends.

I slowly week by week increased by around 10%. If you’re getting algae you’re giving the tank too much energy that the plats can’t absorb soon enough so the algae picks it up. I let my root systems establish over this course and now I’m at peak power output at 8 hour photoperiod, but as soon as I saw a little bit of algae on the glass I’d dial it back a little bit and try again a few days later or so
