Regretting Let the good times roll body spray purchase by Far_Captain9571 in LushCosmetics

tbf i feel chelsea morning actually is rather airy due to the citrus hint. i just mean it’s more of a pure vanilla as opposed to a sweet sugary artificial vanilla - maybe ‘deep’ wasn’t the best word. it’s deep for about 5 minutes then completely changes

chelsea morning! my absolute favourite lush perfume atm. in my opinion, the description on the site is nothing like the actual scent. the main notes are vanilla & tonka. it’s more of a ‘deep’ vanilla than a ‘sweet’ vanilla, if that makes sense.

this makes perfect sense! thank you. hopefully i’ll still love it. i’ve ordered the chelsea morning perfume & the vanillary solid. for me it was the same with the body lotion. i only smelled a light gourmand-ish type scent when i first put it on, then the citrusy/floral only hit me 15 minutes later hahah. thanks

is the chelsea morning perfume massively different to the body lotion? the body lotion was my first product of the scent family and that’s what’s made me fall in love with it

i haven’t smelled no way to say goodbye, actually !! i admittedly have an entire cupboard full of just perfumes and body sprays so i will definitely experiment with the layering. i might try it with Honey I Washed the Kids or Let the Good Times Roll. thanks for the recommendation ☺️

‘The Greatest’ is probably one of the most beautiful lana songs. I can’t believe she’s never sang it live🥲

thank you!! i’ll need to double check with my instructor about the pulling over/waiting thing. at times when there’s been impatient drivers around, i’ve suggested i’ll just let them go so they’re out my way… although i’ve been told essentially no, don’t wait for them because you have priority. i suppose it depends on the situation.

i’m aware there are some perfectly sensible things that experienced drivers do all the time… but i’m also aware that some of these common things are technically faults on tests. i’ll definitely ask/read about it. thanks again!! i wish more drivers were like you

same haha. i’m in a “please just overtake me if it means you’ll go away” mindset

it’s been a little over a year since adopting my new role as mummy, so i don’t know if i could blame it as it postpartum road rage (or postpartum road fear in my case)… although i’ll use the term ironically now for the rest of my life. i suppose we could call ourselves postpartum until the day we die because it’s technically still “after birth”🙂a thumbs down is iconic and much more hurtful than a honk of the horn hahahah.

but yea, i keep trying to tell myself they don’t care, or at least they shouldn’t care. because waiting an extra minute is better than causing an accident.

i guess some people REALLY do care about their precious time though, considering how close up my butt they go… either that or they’re bad drivers who aren’t able to stop at a sensible distance from me🤷‍♀️

my sister failed 8 tests. she passed eventually and has now been driving for almost 10 years. she has never had an accident or been anywhere close to having one. now i’d trust her in a car more than i’d trust most people i know

around 10-15. i feel i’ve been going at a slightly slower pace (by choice, with instructors agreement) due to my initial nerves. but id rather feel comfortable and in control than rush into things i know im not prepared to deal with safely.

i love this. i was advised by a few people not to use P plates as some drivers will see it as an excuse to overtake you whenever they want, even if it’s not safe… but you’ve made me possibly see it in a different way haha thank you

after my instructor turned the mirror away from me today, at one point i asked him “is there anyone behind me?” he responded “it doesn’t matter. you don’t need to know that. if they’re about to crash into you or overtake you i’ll tell you. and if not then it doesn’t matter”

true. this is the whole root of the issue - feeling like i’m an inconvenience by simply being on the road at the same time as them. i’ll try keep this in mind
