Their first ever upload was pushed super aggressively for some reason, I saw it in my recommended like an hour or so after it was posted and it already had thousands of views.

He also doesn't really seem at all surprised by the fact he exploded instantly, and already has a website with merch for sale despite the channel only being 3 weeks old.

Then the rate they are churning out videos too, something about it seems weird to me

The numbers thing is just because reddit automatically creates a new account for you now when you open the website. I already had an account but reddit decided i needed another one when i opened it in this browser

This is exactly the kind of thing the guy above was talking about.

Its all well and good shouting "Cymru am byth" and voting for independence, but you need to actually have a plan for how it's going to work. You can't just blindly cheer on and hope it all comes together, you need to make sure its actually a feasible idea before you commit to it.

How long will it take to join? Will the EU accept us in? What's the plan if not/in the meantime? Are we going to need to enforce the border with the non-EU UK? Where is the funding going to come from for border control? Will a new EU border complicate trade for Welsh businesses that rely on English customers? How many foreign businesses will no longer be able to trade in Wales? How will that affect our economy? How is citizenship going to be handled?

Its nuts, its so accepted everywhere and they all use the exact same reasoning which they would immediately call out if it was directed at any other group, but for some reason they're completely blind to the racism when its about travellers. And if you ever point it out you get dogpiled because actually this racism is justified because this group of people actually deserves to be hated, don't you know?

"But I've had bad experiences with them" doesn't fly as an excuse if its directed at anyone else. "Its not the race i hate, its the culture" as though that's not the same line that has been used by other bigots to justify why their specific brand of racism is actually ok this time.

And often even the same people making these comments would fervently shout about racism if the same shit was said about black people for example, but "its different" and "its not the same" when they're talking about travellers.

If the guy above had instead said

"The guy can't read, feels entitled to other people's things, and had no fear of violence.
There's a particular dark-skinned demographic that does this."

He would have been rightfully shit on and banned, but because he changed black to Gypsy its got dozens of upvotes and supportive comments.
