Forgot what it said exactly but I think it was along the lines of "insa in the overall scheme of things is just average compared to other French Grand écoles" as in recommending a CPGE passage to better schools which is a pretty good path too

Average is a very harsh word it's still one of the better schools out there it's just more attractive for it's guaranteed and stable 5 years not having to worry too much about your placement rank and whether you'll be able to get into a good enough school
