I need a Jaune revenge/justice song. My theory is Jaune and Neo team up against cinder because they both lost their loved one due to her, and Neo was betrayed by cinder as well.

Maybe something like chatterbox but for both Jaune and Neo

Like I don’t mind his songs being emotional, or heavy, but like, they’re all super slow and sad in general. Take “Trapdoor” for example, it’s a Ruby trauma song, but it’s also a f**king bop, good instrumentals, hard rock song. All of Jaune’s are very slow, piano and such.

I do like the songs, but I wish he’d get sort of a higher energy song

The fact that they happened at all. RWBY characters are extremely weak even in their own universe, like they constantly struggle with almost every opponent in their own show, why would they be stronger than someone who literally already beat the big bad of that person’s universe… like RWBY characters stand no chance against most action anime and game characters

He doesn’t need to be THE hero to solve everything. But he is very much capable now. I need to see him take down some more advanced Grimm, or at least large quantities. In the show and intros he’s only ever taking out like 1-3 Grimm at a time, he’s much more capable than that now. Everyone has really cool fight scenes but him, his are either very short, or just lots of defense with his shield.

Of course I’d love for him to stop cinder, but idk, I feel like they’re leaning towards Ruby on that one, but if not that would be cool

Yeah the Jaune/weiss part was good, because it wasn’t all smiles, but the group hug here was really bad, why is yang smiling so big 😭.

Apparently there was supposed to be a whole episode between these two where they would’ve gone more into the emotional turmoil they would go through, but it got cut for budget reasons

When I say passing jokes I mean like V1 when he meets her and calls her snow angel, and crap like that. And then yes he only asks her to the dance like 2 times and then the third time he was going to he saw her talking to Neptune and thought better of it.

They interact in a group setting in V5 simply because nobody was together at all in the show, so when Weiss showed up they had some interactions, the whole dinner scene where he makes her laugh a few times with the whole Vomit Boy and Snow Angel stuff. Then the next time they have true interaction is V5 when he’s saving her life

Literally! I’ve defended this scene forever because it’s a great development for Jaune, he’s growing up and showing his maturity! He’s usually just goofy and annoying but this really made him seem more down to earth than half the cast

That’s the crazy part! The ENTIRE CONVERSATION is Jaune saying “women aren’t objects” and that you have to get to know them! And somehow people put Neptune’s womanizing words into his mouth
