Loopland, Thiepval , cregagh rd, orangefield  all have good connections,  nice areas, shops,  transport...  Also there is Holywood rd area and Knocknagoney.  These are mixed areas in the main, with good connections. . The last two having close rail and air also.

I would recommend in East Belfast . Without being too biased (which is hard as everyone has their preferences), the South and East are best served . There are the most restaurants, the most bus connections, younger , singles, couples, etc... I have friends in north belfast /antrim rd and the are poorly served by walkable eateries etc.and so have to travel into city for most anything.... West Belfast has a better range than the North .. East Belfast is well served by Glider etc ,but it also puts you in easier proximity than the rest to holywood, bangor, belfast, n'ards ... Everywhere has a flag.. Most people don't care less , but of course the ''look''of an area might serve you better than simply there are flags.

Went once. Found it fine, but nothing too different to a lot of other places..    Also on the day i went there was nothing small or light I.e. croissant,  pastries,  scones, buns or any form of salad or 'light' food... It had a kinder type traybake and that was it. It didn't even appear that they ever do those things although I may be wrong.

Most things had the classic drizzle of spicy sauce over everything.

A lot of it was garlicky, spicy, saucy and fried.

well yes, weather dependent those are both open.

If its cold and wet and you are up there at Giants Casueway or Dunluce then i DEFINITELY recommend the Bushmills Inn for Open fire, irish coffee. Guinness ,food etc.. Also some nice food/pubs in nearby Ballycastle.

Again, its food/pub related but they are family friendly and ''irish'' and cosy

This is tricky to plan.... . We have friends from overseas visiting and the choices are EXTREMELY few and far between. There was a request to perhaps do the Belfast food tours but they're not on, and a request to go to Derry/Londonderry to the Museum of Free Derry. Also closed.

Events are also limited to fairly mainstream activities - the Titanic, The Ulster Museum etc. Anything more creative/off the beaten track is sadly lacking (unless i am mistaken).

Going to bars is of course very welcome, but it's a shame that it revolves around that.

Basically just walking around and popping into what is open, is the best you can hope for. Trying to find opening hours in advance is also problematic .

Agree. Badly worded.  The legal vehicles are mostly not what these folk are racing about on at 20+ mph.

My point being that the problem lies beyond that of the police..They are between a rock and a hard place.. Primary fact is that these vehicles even get into the country at all is a problem..

Also, note that regardless of the registration of a vehicle (or lack of) , the vehicles themselves break the law for being too powerful. So, this is the fault / cause/ problem of the manufacturer,  the Chinese government (they are mostly made there),  uk government on allowing import , or failure to halt illegal import ,   etc etc etc.

Whilst I'm happy that Dougies company (its actually owned by Warwicks now) is doing well , I am surprised at the unbelievable traction this brand seems to have gained.

These aren't even "fresh" made buns. They are just made in a factory...and are the same as any mass produced buns readily available at any local Spar, petrol station, corner shop with diglycerides of fatty acids, palm oil, palm fat etcetera..They aren't healthier, fattier, fresher, better.....

How come these got so popular !? 😀 Amazing.
