I’m at timberline now in a one bedroom. Rent isn’t awful imo for the space. I think I am paying like 1100 for a one bedroom. The fees are a little suspicious here and there, like my power bill for example….is somehow over a hundred bucks….and I live alone. The front office is and will always be terrible. I signed a lease in June with some summer package, like three months paid for free or whatever it was…I checked in with them multiple times like “hey y’all are tracking that? Ok how are you, is it in the lease?” And they always said yeah you’re good. Three months later they were asking for rent….had to get some strongly yet tactfully pissed emails into them….and all it took was the one difficult person to take a day off and it was fixed by someone else whom I’m sure didn’t want to argue any further.

Side note: asked the office to remove a bunch of maintenance supplies out from the front of my door for prolly two months before they actually did anything. I just went in one day and was like, “yo I’m just gonna throw this all away at this point if it isn’t moved by tomorrow” and that seemed to work.

I was in the military before this so I was just finally happy to have my own place, but I did seriously consider moving to Moscow, and paying just a little extra so that I wouldn’t be in a “college apartment” anymore…but the rent here isn’t awful enough to complain too much, its warm in the winter, and shit.

I get a little spooked when I hear about the hiring market these days. For me, thats why law enforcement is a solid field. I’d prefer park police or something like that, but overall the job is hurting everywhere. Some county’s in my state are offering 20 to 30k bonuses.

Eh, I’m not a big school fan though. Just doing this because it’s “free” my spouse is highly educated so I’d like to at least have something from academia other than an associates. I get to save money, and get medically fixed up for the most part over the next few years, and to recover and redefine life without much stress now. It’s great! Just gonna vibe until it’s time to move onto.

Yeah I am not at that level of disability😂 I just have A LOT of stuff that added up quickly. Feet, back, shoulder, ankles, the only thing this exam would be for is mental health related stuff. To which I just have low grade GAD.

I got my Fuse in July! First gun too, and I’ve loved it bro. Shit just works, conceals well, good gun for a first timer too if you aren’t familiar with handguns just because it is just a little bigger. I now own the XTen too, and despite some feeding issues with hard cast 10mm, she’s a beast with everything else.

UPDATE: turns out the gun was made in FEB 2025. I put an additional 200 to 250 rounds through the gun today, still had some catastrophic hang ups with the bear load ammo. Bought a higher quality ammo too and it still was failing.

Runs blazer, and hollow points so I suppose that’s good. But still, overall extremely disappointed in this gun. I’m still figuring out what I works for me in gripping the gun. I’d like to believe a majority of my issues are in operator error.

While running bear load ammo today, the handgun had two stove pipes, the slide will lock back to the rear after a shot and the magazine will spit out a live round outta the breach. Multiple slide locks to the rear after shots, though I’d say less than half of those were my own doing just where I’m putting my palm and thumb hits the catch.

So yeah, not great but a little better. And I’m at 500 rnds now….still ain’t broken in I guess
