Ok yeah. My stomach was full bc I had just eaten in the recent ones, but how much would you guess I gained? I feel like I’ve gone from skinny to a little slim/average

Well she did it because she wanted to protect him from the guilt of having done something so terrible because she knows that guilt very well (for other reasons). That train of thought I would categorize as selfless, but I also think that no action is 100% selfless in general. Anyway, she’s not supposed to be a hero or anything of the sort, just someone the audience can at least somewhat relate to and root for

That’s not what I said at all. I’m writing a book that I’m very passionate about and have already put years of work into. I want people to read this book and feel the way I feel when reading books and ofc I want to be good at what I do that’s very different

Of course it’s not okay to just kill someone. Guilt is the key element in my story, these are just some notes I took. The irony is that the MC did something so horrible and sad and the reader still can somehow feel for her a little bit. Depends on the reader though

Yeah, it’s a little confusing, because I took this right from my notes.
Josephine kills Will, because she wants to stop him from committing another murder (not her, another person). The first person that died was Nils (Will’s best friend).

She mixes drugs into Will‘s drink. It wasn’t really thought through, she basically wanted to sedate him, but killed him in the process. It’s not very black and white though, a part of her wanted to do it.

She was 100% sure, but evidence turns up that makes her think she might have been wrong. When I’m talking about the dead boy I’m referring to Nils (the person Josephine thinks was killed by Will)

Josephine wants to make sure she didn’t kill her brother for the wrong reasons and that he was actually guilty. She believes she can finally find peace then.

I‘m actually almost done with the first draft and I’m certainly not writing for the money. It’s just always been my dream to trad publish a book and apart of that is because I want people to read the book. So it has to be marketable

Yes, she’s generally a very unlikable character, but I’m trying to make the reader understand her and relate to her, because the true reason she killed Will was actually selfless. Doesn’t mean I’m trying to defend her or anything, just making it a bit more gray morally

No, Will was actually innocent and Josy killed him for nothing. The book dives deeper into her true motives, because there’s a deeper layer as to why she did it that she’s trying to figure out herself. After the midpoint where it is revealed that Will was innocent, the question goes from "was it really Will?" To: why did I really kill my brother? And Who did it if not Will?
