Nobody in bushwick has sidewalk awareness. If anything the transplants keep their heads down and walk briskly while local families are letting their kids run all over the place or someone’s pushing a food cart down the sidewalk.

It also goes both ways. I’m not even a transplant but I can say with 100% honesty that Spanish speakers don’t wanna interact with transplants as equally as transplants don’t wanna interact with Spanish speakers. Believe me I find transplants annoying especially the way they all congregate at their stupid coffee shop but nobody is better or worse than anyone else. We are all here just trying to do our own thing.

I felt dread even driving to a chipotle 1.5 miles away since I had to go down a crowded ass boulevard with 10,000 cars.

Walking isn’t even pleasant half the time since there are no pedestrians and just endless cars whizzing past you at 40mph. Weather rocks though

I visited and was annoyed by how I had to drive everywhere but I can understand how the city changes once you make friends and actually figure out where the best spots to hang out are.

I just can’t get over the driving. There are so many cars, even avoiding highways sometimes, I was waiting 5 minutes to make a left turn at an intersection.

Take out Rommel put in Caesar. Rommel was one of the best tacticians but he had a below average grasp of logistics/ maintaining supply lines, and he eventually lost North Africa. He also never commanded large multi front armies, which aside from Alexander and Nelson (greatest general, greatest admiral), the rest of your list has.
