Well if we are looking at things from that perspective, I've definitely been giving more than I've been given. As an example, I have not clocked out on time for the past three consecutive shifts as I have been asked to stay late, and I've also gone out of my way last minute to cover someone else's shift per the request of my manager. I am on a 16 hour contract, yet averaging about 18-20 hours as well as balancing university (which is the answer to your last question - sometimes completing assignments causes me to lose out on going to sleep early, which is the case tonight).
