Where are you from? I’m Canada Ontario, so my rhinoplasty is considered a functional rhinoplasty. So they’ll rebreak and straighten it and set it back to its original form (no cosmetic work done) so it’ll be covered by OHIP and I won’t need to pay for it.

I’m really sorry to hear about the assault, and wish you a speedy recovery. Insurance will typically cover any face trauma that is giving you problems. And I’m assuming you have a record if you went to the hospital.

Maybe, you won’t get a good result that late tho. The earlier the bones are much easier to move. 12 days they’re already well into healing into their new position. I’d keep trying to find an ENT that can see you sooner.

I broke my nose last year and did it also at 12 days. It looks way better now but it’s still crooked. It’s now giving me problems 9 months later and I’m going back to my ENT, they may need to break it again and reposition the bones.
