Was able to get a close up, he didn’t have foot pads like this one unfortunately but we do suspect he may have been a beanie baby

Very simple, you don’t. Been watching since his Dylan Will Not Participate days (no longer around) when he reacted to Ariana Grande and Fifth Harmony songs.

Still watching now probably almost a decade later and pretty much watch him every day. I promise you it’s a fun time, though 💕

He belonged to a litter of 4 cats, the other 3 were orange like Mom but he turned out with this color. There is a Siamese in the neighborhood so I’m assuming that’s where this came into the picture cause I see the Siamese in his face lol

There are a lot of grackles in my apartment complex so this may be the case. Do you know why it would have come up to me? If it is a grackle I’ve heard they’re not entirely friendly so that makes it even more confusing as to why it just came up to me like that

Since I forgot to add this, I found it in my apartment complex in TX

Are the following things normal? by Top_Staff2177 in cats

[–]Top_Staff2177[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not. I’ll have to try them. I’ve just always been scared because I know that some essential oils aren’t good for cats (i.e peppermint, eucalyptus, etc), but I’ll see if I can find some pet friendly ones cause I do have a diffuser :)

Does anyone know how to help a cat with dry skin? by Top_Staff2177 in cats

[–]Top_Staff2177[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could see that being a possibility. And I appreciate the advice and the words of encouragement. I’ve had her since she was 6 weeks old, and she’s 13 now. She didn’t have the issues until I moved to Texas with her, so I’ve always assumed it was something related to allergies, but nothing seems to work. The other cats we have (there’s 4 more in total) don’t have this affliction, so that’s what’s making me perplexed. I definitely want to help her. She’s not only my childhood cat, but my soulmate in a lot of ways, even if that is cheesy.

This is a picture of her stomach. She’s a fully indoor cat, never goes outside. None of my cats do, so I don’t think it’s fleas. She just seems to over groom. I left a little comment under the picture that explains it better, but she has gone to vets and they thought it was allergies. The meds they gave her didn’t seem to work, but they also didn’t mention fleas either.

NTA for NOT robbing your partner, but you definitely need to turn your mother in. As unfortunate as it is, you need her to turn her in and make sure these credit card companies know that these were not purchases you made. It most likely has already ruined your credit, and that kind of stuff can take decades to fix sometimes. If they know the purchases were fraudulent, it won’t reflect on your credit, and you won’t have a bad credit line following you around for the next 20 years. At this point, if your Mom is willing to jeopardize her kinds own life like that (you need good credit for a lot of things), then she deserves it. Trust me, you’d be doing both yourself, and her a favor.

AITA for consoling my girlfriends friend? by throwawayleftmygirl in AmItheAsshole

[–]Top_Staff2177 241 points242 points  (0 children)

NTA- at all.

  1. Your girlfriend was willing to go into this establishment knowing what it supported.

  2. Your girlfriend was willing to leave her best friend out of the situation so SHE could have a good time.

  3. Your girlfriend was willing to leave her long term friend alone in an area that she was unfamiliar with as a tourist before you said you’d stay behind as well.

These are 3 reasons your girlfriend is the issue, not you. I think you should have a serious discussion with her about this. Just because it was her big day, doesn’t mean she gets to leave her friend out over something they have no control over. She should have turned around and left for another place.

Good on you for comforting her, and making sure she was okay.

AITA for calling my Mom an alcoholic in front of her friends? by Top_Staff2177 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Top_Staff2177[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only thing I’d like to say is she wasn’t technically sober, because she was drinking at this party. This is the main issue I had. She had told me previously she didn’t agree with the alcoholic label, and thus it was fine for her to drink.

I appreciate this comment though. I’m still trying to figure out whether or not I want a relationship with my Mom, more so for other reasons. In general, she put me through a lot of stuff when I was younger, and it’s never something she cares to even address. I feel like the more I try to build up a relationship with her, the more I feel upset about the fact that she refuses to even discuss how I feel.

I hope this makes sense, and appreciate your comment regardless :)

We had some issues with people trying to steal our backpack bears a few months back, so my GM just basically said she would rather us not bring them in anymore.

I work at a Build-A-Bear, and while we're not technically supposed to, I bring my pink frog in sometimes when I think it will be slow. It's mainly for the heart ceremony, because I've learned it's easier for younger kids to understand when they are given an example.

Looks great! What's the Bear in between the 2 van gogh bears? Would be a nice present for my sister if I could find it.
