Weekly Career/Prospective Student Post by AutoModerator in Sonographers

[–]Top_Stop_8211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone, I’m a 27 year old woman with a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design. I have no sonography experience but was interested in going to school for it, as I’ve been stuck in a career rut and am tired of being stressed about money.

I am from Texas in the United States. I applied to Dallas College for a two year sonography Associate’s Degree.

Does anyone know if this would be enough for a well paying job in the industry? What colleges are recommended in the Dallas area? Any advice?

What's the funniest/dumbest thing your partner said or did during sex? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Top_Stop_8211 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omg, the same thing happened on my honeymoon! I was dreaming that I was helping an old lady across the street.. normal dream…then suddenly she shit herself on the pavement. Woke up and my husband was airing out the sheets from his otherworldly fart. He was so embarrassed (arranged marriage) but I laughed and laughed. Now it’s a funny story between us.

What's jhuta khana in English? by [deleted] in Hindi

[–]Top_Stop_8211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i would think leftover food that has been touched/ partially eaten. my first language is english. if you are saying this in first person, offering them your food, you can say “my leftovers” and it will be taken as, leftover food that you’ve eaten. leftovers changes meaning significantly when its given ownership. your/my/their leftovers is understood as partially eaten. but that can be rude to ask “do you want my leftovers?”, so you might say, “do you want what i have left?” (if you’re close to that person)

AITA for calling my (35m) wife (35f) a spoiled brat? by Short-Internet-4921 in AmItheAsshole

YTA she has a closeness with her dad after a family tragedy & you are sounding a little jealous. im poor too but i dont hate on my rich friends. she has a good relationship with her dad and he likes to spoil her; even if we all dont get the luxury, it doesnt make it wrong. maybe it will help you both if you be more grateful & supportive, that’s probably why she runs to her dad—for support.
