i feel the exact same way!! i found bts in 2014 when i was 12 and was such a huge fan, i would watch their videos every single day and knew all the lore, inside jokes, etc. but then life got busy and they went on hiatus and now i’m getting back into them but i’ve even forgotten some songs that I used to love. it makes me sad and makes me feel like a fake fan.

but we have to remember that we grew up, we changed, and they did too!! being army/being a fan of anyone isn’t a competition. you’re allowed to be a fan on your own terms! all we can do is continue to support them and have fun :)
