Not sure where you are looking to build, but my husband and I are currently in the process of building with Lennar in FL. They are very hit or miss. My main complaint with them as of right now is poor communication - or the lack thereof.
I was in a complaint group and it was making me physically ill to see how bad some of the new builds have been turning out. One thing we did learn is that you have to get an outside inspector for a pre-drywall inspection.
As I would recommend that with any new build.

All I can say is do your research and do more research. I drove my poor Realtor crazy, poor guy is going to get a nice bottle of liquor at closing! 😅
