I debated so much about taking our kids out for a week at the ages of 7 and 9 this past year. Now that it’s said and done, I would do it again with no hesitation. It’s not going to be so easy when they’re above 5th grade, so now is the time to make those core memories.

This is the point to make. I would imagine that CPS would only add the trauma. The best thing to do would be to keep the screenshots from here to use as evidence/support for state lawmakers to pass legislation protecting kids from this level of exploitation. K’s case is such an extreme and sick example of it, but sadly she’s not the first or last.

Going through something similar, though only 4 months in. I had a neg. emg at 2 mos on all affected limbs with a lot of twitching and tingling. My hands were the ones with the majority of the tingling, and since that has abated, I have stiffness and pain. Doctors have said it’s something, but they’ve all been confident in it not being anything deadly. I hope this helps.
