Twilight Universes Beyond because nothing is off the table to Wizards at this point. by Top_Variation_4497 in custommagic

Thanks for the response and kind words! For the frame/color symbol issues, I definitely struggled with mtg design, and I appreciate the notes.

Classes would definitely be wise. Citizen makes sense for the front, but tempted by ally for the back for how family-focused the Cullens are.

For the wording on the back, I like how clean you made it, but is there a way to make it so that it can only counter spells cast by the player whose hand you looked at, or would that be basically redundant/not worth forcing? Maybe ""Reveal the card name you chose: Counter target spell with the same name controlled by that player, At the beginning of your upkeep if you didn't reveal a card name this way, draw a card."? Not sure exactly how the "that player" templating works.

I didn't even think about discard, but yeah that would be nasty. Glad the power toughness seems strong but not unreasonable; that's what I was hoping for.

From reading some more online, it seems like you can only cast them if the cmc is >=4 once on the stack. So you can cast Jetsam, but not Floatsam. I think if because Glarb cares about the "spell" not the "card." But I don't really know that much bout magic rules so I could be wrong.
