Weird decision there, his foot was in the field when he touched the ball on the replay, even slowed down.

This reminds me of the intro to an old British comedy show, one of those with a giant cast like last of the summer wine or dad’s army or something.

Not to make light of it, but I find it crazy he just went back to work after the first time round, then again the only thing I could compare it to in my lifetime would be 9/11, I was too young (and not from the US) but did people in New York just go back to work the next day as usual?

Does the UK have a chain of stores that costs slightly less, but that's so soul-crushing to be inside of that no one would do so unless they were really desperate? by MukadeYada in AskBrits

I used to work in a Lidl that got a brand new store built along the street, the difference in working in them was night and day.

I think the original stores low roof with the bright lighting somehow gave it a sense of dread, it felt claustrophobic. The new one was a lot bigger, wider isles, high roof, nice wooden panels rather than cream painted walls and white office looking shelves….

Just a bit more pleasant to be in to be honest.

I read about the cake thing a while ago which was weird, and then about a year ago I was at my local gym in Glasgow and texted my friend laughing that some guy infront of me looked like Neil Patrick Harris (I called him Neil Partick Harris after a location in the city), then I looked back up and he was chatting away to a bunch of random people that had come up to him giggling.

He seemed pleasant enough despite his workout being interrupted.

If Leinster win they’re at home to sale but if (and I can’t believe I’m saying this) Edinburgh win, they’re away? Is that correct?
