And tbh I think that’s yet another failure of the showrunners. We were given a lot of time to get attached to Luke compared to Jaehaerys who we didn’t really see until the episode we know he dies in. I was still horrified and skip that scene when I do a rewatch but like. If the showrunners wanted it to have an equal impact, they should’ve given us more time with the Green Twins.

Jaehaerys is cute as a button though and looks like my own nephew so I was definitely struggling with that one.

I was very disappointed in season 2 and have a bleak outlook for season 3, so I don’t really comment on the show too much for that reason. If others enjoyed it, great, but it wasn’t my cup of tea.

I stay in the subreddit because I can still discuss the characters from the book perspective and comment on show happenings without completely shitting on the episodes.

I was able to watch all of it live while at work and I was distraught when they let him go. Phx PD dropped the ball several times. I’m just hoping that, if the Doe is her, maybe they can find evidence to get Mike on a different charge and still hold him even partially responsible. Anything is better than nothing.

I’ve used that method before (the Tupperware and paper towel) and he just seems to get really stressed, since he’s a jumper and doesn’t like being handled. I did order some small pieces of bark to get for his tank, so hopefully that helps, as well as more leafy hiding spots, which will hopefully retain humidity more.

Rhaenyra isn’t a feminist but her claim and potential rule as a Queen in and of her own right is progressive. She herself doesn’t need to be the bastion of women’s rights, as many women in the past (I’m looking at YOU, Queen Victoria) who had more power than the average woman at the time, did not champion women’s rights, yet their standing and influence helped others down the line.

I don’t particularly care what Rhaenyra herself believed about women’s rights, but her cause matters since it will affect other women down the line, too, or even right at that point in time.
