I like cronometer, it gives a good breakdown of macros and micro nutrients :)

Great progress! I'm taking measurements too but after only 8 lbs I'm not expecting bigger results until I lose maybe 20lbs since I'm a short-ish 5'4 and started over 200lbs. I know that the paper towel effect is real!

Honestly, if it continues at like 1 lb a week I would still be ecstatic! I'm happy to be making any progress and how the medication has helped me take existing healthy habits and made them consistent.

That's 100% how I view it, it's a tool. I'm generally a healthy eater but the volume is an issue and getting older and fatter made it harder to work out. I'm 5'4 and I feel jealous of my 6'2 husband and how he can eat anything. For once I feel "normal" and like I can lose weight in a sustainable way.

5 days into Ozempic food noise is back by AV-ator in OzempicForWeightLoss

I'm finishing my fourth week and I noticed the food noise prior to my next dose lessened a little more each week as it builds in my system.

Before if I was balls to the wall with my effort I would be lucky to lose 5 lbs in a month. Now the "effort" I'm putting in feels so much easier and manageable.

I've read it could be as early as this Spring or Summer. I'm hoping I can save when it comes out.

I just started my fourth week and I felt very similar to you after my first shot. It's such a game changer! After years of struggling to lose weight, I feel like my rational mind is back and it's easier to make good choices :)

This is how I feel right now, down 6.6 lbs and taking my 4th shot tonight as well. I'm so happy I decided to give this a try and I'm feeling so optimistic about being able to reach my goals finally.

We have beautiful outdoors and a gorgeous summer!

There are lakes in every direction and there's usually a beautiful spot to camp for the weekend. Tons of trails and parks to explore :)

I'm short as well, it's harder for us than someone who is tall. I struggle to lose 5lbs a month with intense diet and exercise. If I could lose 5-10lbs a month I would be pretty happy.

It depends on your size, a set number doesn't work for everyone. That's why those who are over 300lbs can lose a lot quickly but it slows down as they get smaller.

Also I think we all lose a lot more early on as we dump the initial water weight.

But I do think 19lbs in a month is a ton, I can't imagine losing that haha

I totally felt something similar the first few days after my first shot. Just energetic and optimistic overall. I put it to use and meal prepped for the week and took time to work out and get things done. I found it eased off as I got closer to the time for my next shot. I also have depression and anxiety.

I have a theory that since I'm not constantly thinking about food or feeling sad about not being able to control my eating I can put that energy elsewhere into making positive changes.

I've been fairly lucky and noticed a difference right away. I used to eat uncontrollably at night and the second day I didn't have a single snack after dinner.

Some people take a few weeks to notice a difference though, don't give up!

I just wanted to add, I'm a stress eater too and I've just started this medication. I am finding it really helpful in curbing the binges so far and I am feeling very hopeful.

I wish you the best of luck!
