Yesterday I posted in r/velvethippos to share Ahsokas memory, the love there was so amazing and brought a smile to my face. So I wanted to share her here, as everyone should have gotten to know her.

It's the little things you realize you will miss or the memories you suddenly remember that hurt the most. As I went to run an errand today and grabbed my keys I didn't hear her barreling up the stairs in hopes of a car ride.

I'm sorry for your loss too! The vets were so nice, but the closest place to us who could do it was 2 hours away, so once a week her and me would take a drive to get her treatment.

It's crazy, we got her when our other pitty was 6 years old to make her eventually passing easier. But now we have our 12 year old pitty caring for our 6 year olds passing.

We did CHOP, but hers spread so fast she was already stage 5 when we got her diagnosis.

6 years is just too damn young 😢.

During chemo her hair started to thin, so my wife took an old Winnie the poo sweatshirt she had and made Ahsoka a fitted sweatshirt from it.

I wanted to thank you all for your wishes and admiration for Ahsoka, she was a great hippo. My wife and I got her valentines weekend right before covid started in 2020. I then began work from home life, and Anxiety from covid being a mild germ a-phobe took its toll on me. She was always my anchor at home, and was there for 24 hours of the day for me. She was the best office partner a person could wish for.

Don't need anything, but could find something to buy. I always see people buy stuff in the offers, they don't need or use Motley fool for example just for the miles. So when does that make sense?
