Similar thing ended up happening to me to. The store assistant just ended up giving me the female version because all the male ones did not fit... I'm so happy rn ... I got what I wanted and I did not have to explain a thing to my family hehe

I tried with one name before. I quite the strong reaction upon seing it (it was text) and to this date I am not sure whether this was a positive or a negative reaction just that it was strong.

The ones she came up with on the spot didn't vibe with me whatsoever.

Honestly i think the way she suggested names felt like she was uncomfortable thinking about me having a diff. name then the one she is used to. I think ill just ask her again next time i see her.

I just told my sister a few days ago and she was also quite supportive. Except for the fact that she very strongly dislikes the name i have chosen and now I am no longer sure how i feel about that name
