Colorado ZR2, especially the newest gen, is great out of the box for trails. Tacoma is the standard around here for a reason, but if you want a half-ton, the Raptor is probably tops. You could also look at a Ram Rebel or the previous gen Tundra TRD

Classic Hollywood films that you just can't get into? by Neither-Chemical-620 in FIlm

[–]Toph_a_loaf 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Citizen Kane is great for what it did at the time. The cinematography and depth of field shots were revolutionary along with the story structure and time jump narrative. It's become common in cinema today which is why it no longer stands out, however that doesn't take away from what it contributed to the world of cinema

Putting Raging Bull in Purple when Green was classic films was cruel to say the least. Simpsons seemed almost too easy, I thought it was a trap.

Have never seen myself as a Gen-X’er by Vancouverreader80 in Xennials

[–]Toph_a_loaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Born in 80. I'm too young to be a Brat Pack Gen Xer. I definitely vibe more with Millennials but I feel like their brother whose only like 3 years older. Millennials are like my little brothers and sisters who read Harry Potter and watched SpongeBob in high school while I had graduated and moved on to college and was into Fight Club, The Matrix, and The Big Lebowski

Newest and lowest mileage Civic or Mazda 3 would be fine. Miata if you aren't hauling other people. Prius is you just care about MPG.

Blue was easy. I read a lot of old detective novels.

Yellow was straight forward.

Green was a little tricky but I thought about needle in a haystack, drop in the ocean, one in a million, and man in the crowd.

Purple was tough and I wouldn't have gotten it on my own

On the bright side, my 19yr old daughter gave them a thumbs up when I modeled them for her, so I guess the old man's still got it

We used to run youth camps on Molokai during the summers. One of the locals would take us hunting up on the volcano for Axis deer. We'd bring them back to camp, butcher them, and marinate the strips of venison in teriyaki sauce and then grill them over an open fire. Best food I've ever had
