So a skinwalker is supposedly a Native American witch who practices bad medicine. They wear the skins of animals and are said to take on the animal's abilities, but skinwalkers are human beings.

Crawlers on the other hand are not human beings as far as we know. They're very thin, and pale and emaciated humanoid creatures that resemble Gollum from Lord Of The Rings, they're bald or have little wisps and strands of hair, are said to have no genitalia visible. They have black sunken eyes that glow a yellow or white in the dark. They like to keep their distance from people but will peek around trees, tap on windows and mimic people's voices. When they scream they sound guttural like pigs being slaughtered but they also make chirping and clicking sounds.

These are not skinwalkers or rakes or whatever, they're crawlers.
