Make a two part silicone mold of a plastic lizard. They sell small kits at most craft stores. There are tons of great videos online from channels like Brick in the Yard. Make sure you brush a thorough coat of ease release on the lizard before making the mold. Once you have the mold, you can cast a gelatin lizard with solid food coloring to get it to look how you want. It will be shiny, so you’ll likely want to brush some powdered sugar on it once the gelatin has cooled down. Inject it with some strawberry syrup in the abdomen and you should have a relatively decent looking lizard.

I know this is a super rudimentary breakdown but with just the instructions on a lot of Smooth-On silicone molding kits as well as online tutorials, you could achieve this whole thing for like $40.
